March

We have had another busy but fun month in March , with lots of different things happening.
We went to the Hakinakina swimming sports at the Aquatic centre on a bus.
We swam with Whare Tapere, Bridge Pa and Mangateretere.
We had fun and loved all the games and free swim.
In the Seniors Exzodia and Mohi-Tarau got lots of certificates.
We got some new lego in the class and had lots of fun building all sorts of things.
We also went on a class trip as we are studying Turangawaewae.
We went to the Transfer Station at Flaxmere. We looked at all the Recycling and the rubbish.
We helped Mrs Versey sort out some recycling and put them in the right bins.
We saw all the rubbish and know what happens to it now.
Afterwards we went to the Hastings skatepark and playground.
We enjoyed it there going up and down all the ramps. We brought our scooters and had lunch there too.
Mrs Versey also came to school and showed us how to make recycled paper. It came out grey.
We also had Mr Mac and Doug the Digger come to Riverslea again
for another Role Model Assembly for Duffy. We got our Duffy books and saw Mr Macs big truck.
We had the Police, Firemen and Ambulance people come and visit us too. That was really cool.
